METHOLOGY OF ESTIMATION:
Considering the population census in the region represents the golden number in the various regional planning processes, the agency’s researchers resorted to comparative statistical analysis by adopting the intersection of the data of the Central Bureau of Statistic (CBS) “Population and Housing Census in 2004”, studying the spatial development plan for the eastern region that achieved by local administration and ecology ministry in cooperation with UNDP in 2008, in addition to Socio-economic survey of governorates in 2011 by CBS, Population Status Assessment Survey in 2014 by CBS, and Statistical Bulletin in 2019 by CBS, the national framework for regional planning by Regional planning commission (RPC), and other local and global references and sources.
